Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, eu news noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
